As our new Network Development Manager, you will proactively contribute to our progress. We are looking for a team member who will collaborate with a vibrant, innovative, and motivated group at our headquarters.
Role Overview- Negotiate, implement, and oversee agreements with both existing and prospective suppliers and partners to align with our strategic objectives.
- Lead the bidding process for new logistics initiatives, from the creation of tender documents to the assessment of proposals.
- Manage the administrative framework for logistics operations, ensuring precise and efficient handling of information and processes.
- Support the achievement of profit and loss targets by effectively managing and reporting expenditures.
- Engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to become a subject matter expert in your designated areas.
- Oversee various cross-functional projects fueled by data-driven insights aimed at exceeding expectations.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency, lower costs, and enhance service quality within the logistics network.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in automotive logistics, freight forwarding, and transportation.
- A passion for driving projects forward, taking full ownership, and possessing leadership qualities that motivate your colleagues to seize opportunities.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines and budget constraints.
- Strong analytical abilities, including the capacity to distill complex quantitative information into understandable formats.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with external partners and manage relationships independently.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese is advantageous.
- Industry knowledge and an established network within automotive logistics firms is a plus.
