Logistics Development Director

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our logistics development efforts and drive efficiency improvements across our global operations. As the Head of Logistics Development, you will partner closely with our Logistics Product team to design and implement optimal delivery logistics networks, improving efficiency while ensuring exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery quality.
- Collaborate with country operations teams, Product teams, and other stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
- Lead the development of new logistics initiatives, such as alternative vehicle types, parcel deliveries, and hyper-bundling, to unlock growth opportunities.
- Continuously monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to inform data-driven decision making.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management across the organization.
Requirements
- Senior presence and experience working in operations or strategic business development in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional setting.
- Hands-on data skills, with proficiency in tools like Looker and Google Sheets, and SQL preferred.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or related.
