About the Job
The Marketing team at SAS is seeking a skilled Associate Communications Specialist to enhance awareness, shape perception, and expand our presence in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will develop and execute the Communications/PR plan in close collaboration with management.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate, adapt, coordinate, and publish social media content for our corporate social media channels in local language, analyzing and measuring success.
- Support journalists and influencers, handle media inquiries and press interviews with executives and experts, and prepare media interviews, coordinate appointments, and prepare content and briefings.
- Develop customer references in text, image, video, and sound in consultation with our sales teams.
- Be the German-speaking contact person for our global branding, taking care of the local OneVoice rollout for consistent messaging, and support the rollout of our Global Brand Campaign and Corporate Identity Program in local markets.
- Support internal communication, strengthen global messaging, and advise local execs on their communication with media, collaborating tightly with the Exec team regarding presentations, messaging, and organization of internal events.
- Develop customized messaging for the German market covering current technology topics such as Data & AI, Analytics, and Risk Management.
- Manage accurate budgets and project costs together with the communications manager.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of communications experience in a tech-oriented company and/or a PR agency preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Leadership abilities, with past experiences demonstrating initiative and going above and beyond the call of duty.
- Interest in the future of Data & AI and embracing technology (tools and topics).
- Fluent in German/English.
