Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team both technically and disciplinarily.
- Oversee the effective utilization of team resources and provide support in critical situations, including complaint resolution.
- Facilitate comprehensive training and mentorship for new team members.
- Implement new client projects while monitoring and enhancing performance metrics for both new and existing accounts.
- Stay updated on industry developments and changes relevant to your operations.
- Manage relationships with carriers and maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring competitive purchasing conditions.
- Strive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle sea freight operations (FCL and LCL) specifically within the automotive sector.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI), initiating continuous improvement strategies and managing complaints.
- Completed training in freight forwarding & logistics or a related degree.
- Extensive knowledge and professional experience in logistics, particularly in sea freight and customer service.
- Initial experience in managing small teams.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Possess strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
- Quality and cost-conscious with a high degree of reliability.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
