We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Underwriter Casualty Large Corporate to join our team at AXA Group.

About the Role

  • As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting large corporate and specialty risks, including automotive, rail, and construction.
  • You will analyze risks in detail and design customized insurance policies to meet the needs of our clients.
  • You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
  • You will collaborate with our product development team to create new insurance products and services.
  • You will monitor and control claims, and work with our claims team to resolve any issues.
  • You will stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure that our insurance products are compliant.
  • You will work closely with our account management team and underwriters from other departments to ensure seamless service to our clients.
  • You will collaborate with our global and local teams to develop and implement new business strategies.
  • You will participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • You will conduct research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements

  • You must have a degree in a business-related field or a related field.
  • You must have at least 6 years of experience in underwriting large corporate and specialty risks, including automotive, rail, and construction.
  • You must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the insurance industry.
  • You must be able to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • You must be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
  • You must have excellent language skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • You must be willing to travel regularly.
