Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Product Line Management - Nutrition Expert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of specific product line/category strategy to drive growth, brand awareness, and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Product Line Strategy
    • Market positioning, pricing, and innovation pipelines will be your focus areas.
  • Manage the P&L
    • You will be accountable for product line/category P&L and target delivery by ensuring effective portfolio, price pack architecture, promotion strategy, innovation pipeline.
  • Monitor Financial Performance
    • Financial performance (sales, margins, expenses, forecasting accuracy, stock levels) will be closely monitored, and corrective actions will be taken as needed.
  • Analyze Market Trends and Consumer Insights
    • You will analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Define and Maintain Pricing and Promotion Guidelines
    • Pricing and promotion guidelines will be defined and maintained to drive growth and margins.
  • Collaborate with Product Development
    • You will collaborate with product development to align new products with strategy and manage the product lifecycle.
  • Coordinate Go-to-Market Strategies
    • Go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and campaign performance will be coordinated.
  • Drive Successful Product Launches
    • You will drive successful product launches and explore partnerships to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
    • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ Years of Experience in Product Management within the FMCG Industry
    • You should have a proven track record of successfully managing product portfolios, from concept to launch to lifecycle management.
  • Strong Understanding of Portfolio Analysis, Market Segmentation, and Product Positioning Strategies
    • You should have a strong understanding of portfolio analysis, market segmentation, and product positioning strategies.
  • Experience in Developing and Executing Activation Plans
    • You should have experience in developing and executing activation plans, including defining go-to-market strategies, distribution, and pricing.
  • Analytical Mindset with Proficiency in Market Research, Data Analysis, and Financial Planning

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
    • You should have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Fluency in English and German
    • Fluency in English and German is required.
