Dual Learning Approach: Our program emphasizes a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. In the dual study of Business Informatics, you will alternate between academic coursework at the university and hands-on training with your employer, allowing you to implement your learning in real-world scenarios from the outset.
Diverse Skill Set: Business Informatics is a multifaceted discipline that merges elements of computer science, business administration, and management. Graduates in this field are equipped with both technical and analytical expertise, alongside strong communication and project management skills.
Triple Qualification in Three Years: Alongside your Bachelor's degree, you have the opportunity to earn a professional certification and become a qualified trainer within a three-year timeframe at DHSH. As a student of Business Informatics, you can select from various training programs, including IT Business Administrators (IHK), IT Specialists for System Integration (IHK), and IT Specialists for Application Development (IHK). The certification examination by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) is conducted after 2.5 years.
Program Structure: The three-year curriculum is organized into six study semesters. Each semester comprises a practical component within the company (practical phase) and a theoretical component at the Dual University of Applied Sciences Schleswig-Holstein (theory phase).
