Job Title: Manager - Strategy and Technical Marketing (Iron Ore/IOC)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead our strategy and technical marketing efforts for Iron Ore (IOC) products. As a key member of our global technical marketing team, you will be responsible for driving IOC strategy and technical marketing initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and providing valuable insights into product value and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage IOC product strategy and planning activities to support IOC product strategy and planning initiatives.
  • Cultivate partnerships and engage with customers across Middle East steel mills.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to maximise sales price based on value in use (VIU) modelling work.
  • Examine IOC products and their dynamics relative to competitors' products within the evolving market and industry.

About You

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a technical discipline including metallurgical/chemical/process/mining engineering.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to gain commitment from your team, customers and key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of the iron and steel industry and the current and emerging needs of the industry including products and steel decarbonisation.
  • Strong knowledge of ironmaking and steelmaking operations.
  • Proficiency in English languages, both written and spoken.
