Safety Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Data Analyst to join our team at Hyundai. As a key member of our Quality and Safety department, you will play a critical role in analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and patterns that impact vehicle safety.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Standardize Trends Analysis Processes: Develop and implement data analysis processes to identify emerging issues related to vehicle safety, including product quality issues, recalls, and government investigations.
- Act as European Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for our European operations, working closely with our IT team to implement new systems and processes for managing safety-related defect investigations.
- Monitor and Analyze Data Sources: Utilize internal and external data sources, including PIR accident reports, government complaints, warranty claims, and competitor recalls, to identify emerging trends and issues related to vehicle safety.
- Conduct Deep-Dive Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis to identify root causes of safety-related issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Coordinate Communication: Work closely with our Data Review Committee and Technical Review Committee to ensure effective communication and collaboration on safety-related matters.
- Monitor Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices, providing recommendations to our leadership team on how to improve our safety processes.
- Innovate and Improve: Continuously develop new methods and processes for analyzing data and identifying safety-related issues, working closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have:
- University Degree in a Technical Discipline
- Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Quality or Safety in the Automotive Industry
- General Automotive Technical Knowledge
- High Level of Authority to Self-Check and Ensure Accuracy
- Ability to Judge Independently and Understand Business Impact
- Aptitude for Identifying and Employing IT Systems for In-Depth Analysis
- Ability to Present to and Manage Stakeholders
- Fluency in English
