Lead Consultant in Financial Reporting Advisory (m/f/d)

With extensive knowledge in finance and accounting, you will work alongside your team in the Accounting & Process Advisory sector to assist our national and international clients. As a trusted advisor, you will support clients with various issues in the accounting and reporting domain, including transitions from local GAAP to international standards or adapting to new accounting regulations.

Your Responsibilities
Are you ready to leverage your expertise to enhance our Accounting & Process Advisory practice? Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Support our clients across various sectors such as diversified industries, automotive, consumer markets, media, private equity, and startups.
  • Assist interdisciplinary teams in implementing international accounting standards (IFRS and US GAAP), corporate transactions (e.g., carve-outs), and conversion services.
  • Actively participate in advising on complex issues related to national and international accounting standards and assist clients in preparation for audits (Audit Readiness).
  • Provide guidance during enforcement procedures.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements.
  • Take on leadership roles within smaller project teams.
Your Profile
  • To become a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) in Financial Reporting Advisory, you should possess a degree in business administration, particularly with a focus on international accounting, auditing, or business informatics.
  • You should have a minimum of three years of professional experience in complex accounting and reporting issues, corporate reporting, consulting, auditing, or in the finance and accounting departments of companies.
  • Experience as a lead auditor or in managing smaller teams and sub-projects related to accounting issues is essential.
  • Your strong knowledge of national and international accounting principles and processes, along with familiarity with relevant literature, will set you apart.
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications is required.
  • Fluency in English is necessary, with experience abroad being an advantage.
  • Your willingness to learn, strong analytical skills, creativity, communication abilities, and client-oriented approach will complete your qualifications.
