Business Development Analyst

As the first cross-border transmission system operator, we plan, build, and operate an almost 25,000 kilometres long high and extra-high voltage grid in the Netherlands and Germany. We are one of the largest investors in national and international electricity grids, on land and at sea.
Our team of 7,400 employees work together to ensure that more than 43 million end consumers can rely on a stable electricity supply.
We are looking for a passionate Business Analyst (m/w/d) to contribute to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Identify improvement initiatives and solutions, and manage their implementation within IT systems and business processes.
- Understand business needs and opportunities, including a good understanding of business risk, impact on the IT systems, and ability to perform and communicate assessments and feasibility studies.
- Manage work estimation and planning of analytical activities, which may include team resourcing, project timeframes, and scope of projects.
- Develop and execute plans delegated by managers through reporting and status updates.
- Create business cases for new or existing ventures the business or IT is considering.
- Analyse and write requirements for new IT systems, prepare tenders, and evaluate tender offers.
- Act as a bridge between software developers and business colleagues by coordinating deployments and testing of software versions.
- Support business analysis in migration projects.
- Academic working and thinking level with at least 3 years of experience as a business analyst.
- Demonstrable process and IT knowledge in the area of system operations or market processes in the energy sector.
- Relevant certificates and trainings, e.g. BiSL, BABOK, IREB, Prince2, Scrum.
- Good knowledge of German and English language (C1 minimum).
