Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to lead and execute strategic analytical and data engineering projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing self-service BI infrastructure to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Extracting, transforming, and analyzing large transactional datasets to gain insights into customer-facing applications.
  • Developing and maintaining scalable data solutions, including ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting tools.
  • Creating and optimizing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using a BI tool to meet business requirements.
  • Championing best practices in data management, reporting, and analysis to ensure data integrity and efficient test design.
  • Collaborating with Product and Tech teams to define data structures and requirements for new features across our apps and internal systems.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and building robust ETL pipelines.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, along with knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL or similar.
  • Scripting experience in Python for data processing, automation, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Grafana, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • A degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics.
  • Business proficiency in German.
  • Fundamental understanding of key business metrics related to finance, operations/supply chain management, and marketing.
  • Familiarity with lower-level programming languages such as C#.
