Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst (all genders) to become a vital part of our BI and Marketing Analytics (BIMA) team. This is a global role that collaborates with our brands across numerous countries, executing strategies from our headquarters.

BIMA is an integral segment of the Global Marketing team, dedicated to central business intelligence and marketing analytics. Our mission is to propel marketing initiatives through data-driven solutions and strategic insights, ensuring sustainable growth. We spearhead strategic projects including customer segmentation, marketing ROI evaluation, and supporting executive leadership in making informed decisions across various brands and regions.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst will focus on enhancing our marketing strategies through insightful data analysis and advanced analytics. This position will work closely with marketing leaders, product teams, data science units, and regional analytics teams to assess marketing performance and refine our acquisition and retention strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging analytics to deliver actionable insights regarding marketing performance.
  • Designing and executing A/B testing and other experimental frameworks to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Developing tools, KPI frameworks, and reports to assess the ROI of marketing expenditures, while continuously monitoring and guiding marketing investments across various channels to optimize ROI.
  • Creating statistical models to forecast customer lifetime value, assess customer acquisition costs (CAC), and employing analytics to minimize CAC while maximizing LTV.
  • Analyzing and enhancing customer segmentation to inform targeting strategies in local markets and boost customer retention.
  • Collaborating with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on data requirements and establish global guidelines for data collection and utilization.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.
Qualifications

Your essential skills include:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing analytics, particularly focusing on user retention for technology-driven consumer-facing organizations.
  • Strong expertise in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Big Query, Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Python/R).
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a talent for translating data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with A/B testing, attribution modeling, and various experimental design methodologies.
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies, including CRM, paid search, social media, and content marketing.
Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in agile development and methodologies.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, business, or related fields.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing naming conventions and tagging strategies to ensure data consistency within a global organization. Familiarity with market mix modeling.
