About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Marketing Analytics team at Delivery Hero. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to inform marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Performance Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to analyze marketing performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Design and implement A/B testing and other experimental frameworks to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize marketing spend.
  • Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Analyze customer data to develop targeted marketing strategies, increase customer retention, and drive revenue growth.
  • Statistical Modeling and Forecasting: Develop statistical models to project customer lifetime value, measure customer acquisition costs, and optimize marketing spend to maximize ROI.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on data needs, develop global guidelines for data collection and consumption, and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on user retention for technology-driven consumer-facing companies.
  • Strong proficiency in analytics tools and platforms, including Google Big Query, Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, and Python/R.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with A/B testing, attribution modeling, and other experimental design methodologies.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in agile development and methodologies.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, statistics, math, physics, business, or related field.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing naming conventions and tagging strategies to ensure data consistency in a global organization.
