ESS Sales Manager

This is a senior role within the SolarEdge Energy Storage Division, focusing on developing sales opportunities for Energy Storage Systems (ESS) in central Europe. The role will involve supporting sales activities in other European regions and markets from time to time.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Lead, Europe, to develop and diversify the SolarEdge business, increasing revenue and underpinning future growth. The ideal candidate will have a mix of existing customer relationships and a desire to hunt for new customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Business & Sales
- Win business by managing the sales cycle for repeat business and hunting for new opportunities
- Negotiate with customers to drive sales and maintain SEDG as the preferred Energy Services solution supplier
- Manage customer interactions, including sales cycles, securing POs, and supporting escalation
- Focus on growth by developing the ESD growth strategy and business model
- Know the market to identify business opportunities and viable customers to support the growth strategy
- Tailor responses to clarify how and value offered in SEDG solutions meet and exceed customer needs
Offer Development
- Evolving capability by increasing expertise in ESD solutions, value proposition, and support
- Continual improvement by working to address ESD developments, opportunities, and threats both locally and globally
- Product change by providing essential feedback for the product and marketing teams on required product customization and marketing materials necessary for the local market
SolarEdge Brand Extension
- Extension by delivering on the SolarEdge Energy Storage brand extension strategy
- Advocacy by seeking brand advocacy from customers in all areas
- Represent SolarEdge at industry workshops, events, and forums as required
Requirements:
Country: Germany

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline: Engineering; and/or Business/Commerce
- 3+ years of successful experience in C&I and/or Utility scale ESS or energy sales
- Sales and Business Development of complex products and services
- Client relationship management: Develop, Grow, and Retain
- Negotiating PO terms/contracts
- Effective reporting and performance tracking
