We are currently in search of a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant to the General Manager to support our Fulfillment Centers in Germany. This role involves close collaboration with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Role Overview:
The Operations teams within our Fulfillment Centers play a crucial role in managing our extensive inventory, overseeing everything from inbound to outbound processes. They strive to enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring timely delivery of products while optimizing workflows.
In this pivotal position, you will engage in a diverse range of interactions on a daily basis. This role encourages creativity as you implement your ideas and initiatives, working alongside our Operations teams to foster effective communication within the Fulfillment Center.
Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and organize employee engagement activities, including competitions and celebrations, while managing budgets and timelines.
- Develop promotional materials and campaigns for events tailored to the site's requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to execute site projects.
- Oversee communication channels within the fulfillment center, including newsletters and message boards.
- Act as the Charity Champion, managing the charity budget and coordinating local charitable initiatives.
- Facilitate recognition programs for associates, encouraging participation from leadership and staff.
- Handle travel arrangements and administrative tasks for the leadership team, including diary management and meeting action tracking.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure robust resources for projects and initiatives.
- Welcome and manage visitors on behalf of the General Manager and leadership team.
Work Schedule:
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with the possibility of additional hours and flexibility to adjust as needed.
- Proven experience in the responsibilities outlined above, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluency in both English and German.
- Experience in a large-scale, fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
