Your Role as Volunteer Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Volunteer Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a vibrant and impactful volunteer community within ASB Köln.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to establish a thriving Workers Samaritan Youth group in Cologne.
  • Plan and execute participation in trade fairs, effectively representing ASB Köln at local events.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with other coordinators through conferences and existing networks.
  • Engage with educational institutions to promote FSJ/BFD programs or establish a school first aid service in collaboration with our emergency training department.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to actively expand volunteer opportunities and engagement.
  • Provide valuable insights and support to the corporate communication team on social media initiatives.
  • Regularly update our CEO on your progress and contributions as a staff member.
  • Continuously bring fresh ideas and demonstrate a commitment to innovation within the volunteer program.

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, business administration, health sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven organizational skills demonstrated through independent projects and initiatives.
  • A hands-on approach and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with volunteers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and relevant software applications.
