Job Description:
Role Overview:
As an Application Specialist at INIT Group, you will play a crucial role in our Data Analytics team, responsible for deploying and maintaining software solutions that enable our customers to make data-driven decisions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our software solutions, from data analysis to real-time processing and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute software deployments, including installations, updates, and patches, to ensure seamless integration with our customers' systems.
- Coordinate software migrations for our customers, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
- Perform functional testing on deployed software and analyze any issues, working with the development team to resolve them.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all relevant information in our ticketing system and knowledge database.
- Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to improve and automate processes in the deployment area.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Oracle is a plus.
- Basic understanding of server configurations, including clusters and virtual machines.
- Experience with Java and/or PL/SQL is desirable.
- Fluent German and English language skills for effective communication with colleagues and customers.
