About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist to join our team at innovation in traffic systems SE. As an Application Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our software solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute software deployments, including installations, updates, and patches, to ensure seamless integration with our complex customer systems.
  • Coordinate software migrations for our software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Perform functional testing on deployed software and analyze any issues, working with the development team to resolve them.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all necessary information in our ticketing system and knowledge database, ensuring a broad knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in the deployment process.
  • Work closely with the development team and other departments to ensure a constant knowledge transfer and to drive innovation in our software solutions.
Requirements
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Experience with software deployment and migration is essential.
  • Basic understanding of server configurations, including clusters and virtual machines, is a plus.
  • Experience with Java and/or PL/SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud and real-time technologies is a plus.
  • Fluent English and German language skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
