Software Engineering Director

THRYVE is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering and Technology to lead our engineering teams and drive the development of our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Drive the architecture and design of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across all products and services.
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define and prioritize the engineering roadmap, balancing short-term goals with long-term vision.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering teams.
- Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers, helping them grow in their roles and contribute effectively to the company's success.
- Oversee the recruitment, retention, and development of top engineering talent, building high-performing teams capable of executing on the company's vision.
- Implement and refine engineering processes, tools, and best practices to optimize productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing and scaling engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting, mentoring, and leading engineering teams, with the ability to scale teams effectively as the company grows.
- Experience with modern software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is highly valued.
