As our new Commercial Manager for Ammonia, you will help us to analyse the low and zero carbon ammonia market potential in Germany and adjacent regions. You will identify marketing opportunities and start building our customer base for Ammonia. As a relevant part of the New Energy team at Mabanaft, you will be fronting the company's efforts to identify and develop new and existing clients transitioning into Ammonia as a hydrogen carrier for their future sustainable fuel needs.
Your strong business development drive, together with your experience in the distribution of chemicals, will help us to grow this line of business.
Your Tasks- Run ammonia market analysis and segmentation to understand and define low/zero carbon ammonia volume needs and price sensitives by segment such as chemical industry, utilities or shipping
- Development of route-to-market strategies per market segment identified
- Identify and Develop a portfolio of existing and potential future customers in several segments with a need for clean and sustainable Ammonia and manage the relationships
- Promote Mabanaft's products and services addressing our customers' requirements
- Prepare and execute commercial negotiations in line with existing laws, Mabanaft guidelines and aligned with other Mabanaft's commercial functions
- Closed coordination between the Ammonia and Hydrogen teams and alignment with inhouse commercial functions
- Participation in market and industry events and networking as well as business meetings with prospective clients
- Experience: 10 years working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant commercial role
- Market insights: Experience in the energy or petrochemicals markets
- Key Skills: Experience in development of new markets, demanding industrial customers and Project Management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly energetic and enjoy inspiring those around you with new ideas and technologies to build the energy world of tomorrow together
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in English and German
- Flexibility to travel
