About the Role

E.ON Energy Projects GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join their team in München, Hamburg. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for implementing large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial project lead to implement large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites across Europe
  • Contract and claim management, including setting up commercial specifications, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts
  • Dealing with standardized international supply contracts and national laws
  • Process link between the project and E.ON's central procurement department
  • Ongoing controlling and reporting of project budgets, risk management, and supplier development
Requirements
  • University degree with a solid commercial background and knowledge of tendering and procurement procedures
  • Several years of experience in commercial project and contract management for process plant construction, energy industry, or related sectors
  • Strong capabilities as a purchaser in challenging situations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently, and high level of commitment
  • Ability to understand technical, process engineering areas, and legal topics
  • Fluency in English and German, with knowledge of other languages a plus
  • User knowledge of SAP BI and SAP Materials Management, and excellent MS Office skills
