We are seeking an experienced System Safety Specialist to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our products and systems throughout their entire lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and conduct safety assessments, risk analyses, and safety requirements development to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and airworthiness authorities, to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of product development.
- Develop and maintain safety procedures, guidelines, and tools to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical expertise and support to new safety engineers and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in system safety.
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physical Science, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in safety engineering or a related field, with a strong background in system safety assessments and risk analyses.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety tools and methods, including FaultTree+.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Strong English language skills, with German language skills desirable.
