IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at REPA Deutschland GmbH. As an IT System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Server and Network Administration: Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems, as well as manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Virtualization and Cloud Computing: Manage virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V and maintain virtual server environments, as well as configure and manage cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform routine infrastructure maintenance activities, including patch management, firmware upgrades, and system backups.
- Monitoring and Performance Analysis: Monitor system resource utilization, capacity planning, and implement scaling measures to ensure optimal performance.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve operations-related issues.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer (m/f/d) or in a similar role in the development and management of complex IT infrastructures.
- Skills: Solid knowledge of server hardware, operating systems (Windows and Linux) and virtualization technologies, as well as experience configuring and managing network technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs, and cloud computing platforms.
- Language Skills: Fluent English and German skills.
