To strengthen our dynamic and global IT team, we are looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer (m/f/d).
As a IT Systems Engineer (m/f/d) You will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of our company's IT systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.
Job Description
Installation, configuration and maintenance of server hardware and operating systems Manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs Manage virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V and maintain virtual server environments Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions Perform routine infrastructure maintenance activities, including patch management, firmware upgrades, and system backups Monitor system resource utilization, capacity planning, and implement scaling measures Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve operations-related issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field Several years of experience as aIT Systems Engineer (m/f/d) or in a similar role in the development and management of complex IT infrastructures Solid knowledge of server hardware, operating systems (Windows and Linux) and virtualization technologies Experience configuring and managing network technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs, as well as cloud computing platforms (, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) Familiar with IT security principles and best practices, including network security, access controls, and vulnerability management Confident knowledge of monitoring and performance analysis tools to proactively detect and remediate infrastructure issues Fluent English and German skills
