About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Affairs Lead to join our Oncology team at Lilly. As a Medical Affairs Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the Medical Affairs team in Oncology, driving the development of our therapy area and ensuring the successful launch of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Medical Affairs team in Oncology, including recruitment, development, and management of team members.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the Oncology therapy area, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches in Oncology, ensuring successful market access and commercialization.
  • Collaborate with external healthcare professionals and institutions to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
  • Plan and execute advisory boards, scientific events, and projects to support business objectives.
  • Work closely with the PRA team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and prepare GBA dossier submissions.
  • Provide medical approval and deputy information officer support.
  • Develop and deliver medical education and training programs for Lilly employees.
  • Prepare and moderate scientific presentations and discussions in Oncology.

Requirements

  • Board-certified physician (Oncologist) with a strong track record of industry experience in Medical Affairs, preferably in Oncology.
  • Established external network with key opinion leaders in Oncology.
  • Several years of experience in leadership roles, with strong communication, business acumen, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience in planning, implementing, and analyzing clinical trials.
  • Strong cross-functional mindset and team player with excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in German and English, with strong PC skills.
