Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and innovative Head of IT Operations to drive the digital evolution of a global manufacturing entity within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will take charge of the execution of sophisticated IT strategies and manage a large-scale SAP initiative, ensuring that they align with the strategic vision and operational objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Direction
- Formulate and implement a progressive IT strategy that resonates with the organization's business objectives and global market trends.
- Lead initiatives for digital transformation aimed at refining business processes, enhancing efficiency, and fostering innovation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to pinpoint and prioritize technology investments and strategic initiatives.
2. SAP Initiative Oversight
- Direct the deployment and integration of SAP systems throughout the global organization.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful execution within established parameters.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to enhance operations and maximize the effectiveness of SAP solutions.
3. IT Management and Operations
- Guarantee the reliability, security, and scalability of the organization’s IT infrastructure and systems.
- Establish and uphold IT policies, standards, and best practices.
- Lead and develop a global IT team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
4. Engagement with Stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Engage with external vendors, partners, and consultants to bolster IT initiatives and enhance value.
5. Risk Management and Compliance
- Identify and address IT-related risks, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols to safeguard the organization’s data and technological assets.
Qualifications
1. Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years in IT leadership roles, demonstrating a successful history in steering digital transformation initiatives.
- Extensive experience with SAP implementation and management in a global context.
