Your Contributions

  • In this position, you will assist in all commercial dimensions from the initial sales phase of an acquisition to the formulation of proposals and negotiation stages, culminating in contract finalization for projects within Customer Services Rail Infrastructure (70%).
  • You will play a crucial role in the tender and approval processes, engaging in pertinent planning and strategic discussions.
  • Additionally, you will support project oversight for headquarters-led initiatives, which includes reporting, variance analysis, and more (20%).
  • You will also aid the team in their governance responsibilities for independently managed projects in various countries, applicable to both bidding and execution phases.
  • Furthermore, you will spearhead specific special projects and engage in various collaborative groups (10%).

What We Seek

  • A university degree (Bachelor) in a business administration specialization is required.
  • Initial professional experience in a commercial capacity (e.g., commercial project management, commercial proposal management) is essential.
  • Familiarity with sales processes, particularly in preparing quotations and understanding costing, is advantageous, along with the ability to identify contractual elements during preliminary assessments.
  • Proficiency in ProjectDash, Roccit, and SAP is expected.
  • Ideally, you possess an understanding of international value flows and their associated challenges (e.g., transfer pricing issues).
  • A passion for collaborating across various interfaces, including international teams, along with strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills is essential.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
