Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Expert to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our Data and Analytics Team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and systems, with a focus on Databricks, machine learning, and data modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Logistics Pillar and Syncreon regional operations to drive change within Group Technology.
- Collaborate with Operations Excellence, Finance, HR, Sales, and Procurement teams to drive business outcomes.
- Support leaders on performance metrics for your Business Unit.
- Work closely with the senior IT shared services leadership team to ensure collaboration and alignment with solutions and services.
- Maintain good relationships with procurement and finance to support Syncreon policies and processes.
- Support Group Compliance, Group People, and Legal in support of Syncreon policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain open communication with all key IT and business leaders to ensure top-level IT service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Databricks and machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala (Pyspark preferred).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Databricks Associate Certification required.
- Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
- Knowledge and experience in using the MS Azure Analytics Services, especially Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and MS Purview.
- Power BI knowledge preferred.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
