Overview of the Position

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to support our Global Sales Operations team. This role involves engaging in various facets of the sales cycle, including managing sales data, generating reports, forecasting sales, analyzing inventory, and overseeing sales automation tools. As a working student, you will play a crucial role in enhancing reporting processes, forecasting accuracy, and contributing to diverse Sales & Marketing initiatives alongside the Sales Operations team. Collaboration with global colleagues will be a key aspect of your role.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Data Management:

  • Assist in gathering, consolidating, and analyzing sales data from multiple sources.
  • Update and maintain sales databases and systems to ensure data precision and reliability.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Create regular and on-demand reports regarding sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
  • Examine sales metrics to uncover patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Aid in the preparation of sales presentations and dashboards for management evaluations.

Process Optimization:

  • Engage in identifying and executing process improvement projects within sales operations.
  • Document and standardize sales workflows and procedures.

Support for Sales Team:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the sales team.
  • Facilitate communication among sales, marketing, and other pertinent departments.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire or Power BI) is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of sales processes and operations.
