We are a leading provider of email and cloud services in Germany, renowned for our popular GMX and WEB.DE platforms. We're seeking a talented Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Munich or Berlin. As part of a cross-functional agile development team, you'll contribute to the global success of our products, serving over 13 million users worldwide.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance our email and cloud applications using Kotlin, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and testability.
- Stay at the forefront of Android technology by integrating the latest advancements into our apps.
- Collaborate effectively through code reviews, peer programming, and technical discussions to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Actively participate in team ceremonies, architectural discussions, and cross-team initiatives.
- Contribute innovative ideas and provide valuable technical feedback to product owners and UI/UX designers regarding new and existing features.
What We Look For
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in native Android software development.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, Kotlin, and the Android technology stack (e.g., Jetpack, Coroutines, Dagger2).
- Practical knowledge of unit and integration testing, continuous integration, and delivery. Familiarity with UI testing frameworks is a plus.
- Hands-on experience working with REST APIs.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for collaborating in a multinational, cross-functional Scrum team dedicated to Android development.
