Senior Android Software Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Software Engineer to join our cross-functional agile Android Mobile Development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new functionalities for our Android apps, used by over 13 million users worldwide.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient Android apps using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize technical requirements and implement solutions.
- Own the app architecture and ensure our apps are up-to-date with the latest technologies.
- Drive technical decisions and process improvements, and participate in cross-team initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of new features and provide technically sound feedback to product owners and UI/UX.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in native Android software development.
- Outstanding knowledge of software design and architecture principles, Kotlin, Java, and Android-specific technologies.
- Rich theoretical and practical knowledge in Unit and Integration Tests, Continuous Integration and Delivery, and UI testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and great communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multinational cross-functional Scrum team.
