Android Software Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to join our cross-functional agile Android Mobile Development team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new functionalities for our Android apps, which are used by over 13 million users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our Android apps using Kotlin and the latest technologies.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize new features and improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
- Actively participate in team ceremonies and architectural discussions.
- Contribute to the development of new features and provide technically sound feedback to product owners and UI/UX.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in native Android software development.
- Good knowledge of software design and architecture principles, Kotlin, and the Android specific tech stack.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in Unit and Integration Tests as well as in Continuous Integration and Delivery.
- Hands-on experience with REST-APIs.
- Good communication skills and desire to work in a multinational cross-functional Scrum team.
