Lead Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Quality Specialist (m/f/d) to enhance our quality assurance processes.
In this role at Hyundai, you will be responsible for developing and executing protocols for inspecting, testing, and assessing product quality in line with corporate standards. You will gather and analyze claims and quality concerns to formulate improvement strategies aimed at preventing quality-related issues. Additionally, you will ensure thoroughness and quality through regular vehicle inspections and on-site evaluations of completed work to boost customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary contact for all markets regarding quality and quality system matters.
- Collaborate with Hyundai HQ on solutions and system enhancements.
- Investigate customer quality inquiries.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and conduct root cause analysis related to field issues.
- Monitor daily quality concerns and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversee Quality Management and systems via the technical hotline.
- Manage specific vehicle inspections, develop inspection processes, and maintain document control.
- Lead investigations of non-conformance, working closely with suppliers and technical teams to ensure swift resolutions and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Direct the RDSP (Remote Diagnosis Service Platform) project for early detection and resolution of issues.
- Oversee thermal incident investigations.
- Provide technical support for Hyundai event vehicles (PETD, NTD, GSO, etc.).
- Maintain the Hyundai Quality Management System.
- Create and uphold vehicle and supplier inspection standards.
- Develop strategies that align with division policies and business objectives.
- Ensure effective project milestone management with follow-ups and next steps.
- Support shop activities and assist in developing countermeasures when projects or KPIs fall behind.
- A degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or certification as a Quality Engineer.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional automotive experience, ideally in service and/or quality sectors.
- Experience in strategic planning, project management, and building consensus.
- Training in High Voltage materials and diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of market requirements and operational setups.
- Excellent collaboration skills, a team-oriented approach, and a results-driven mindset.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.

- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
