Electrical Testing Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to join our team at VDE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of electrical testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Expertise: Share your in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards, and technologies with various product groups to ensure our tests meet the highest standards.
  • Testing Procedure Development: Develop innovative testing procedures, tools, and setups according to regulatory, normative, and customer-specific requirements focusing on quality and reliability.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Adjust, verify, and validate testing equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Test Result Interpretation: Interpret test results and create meaningful reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Validate and verify test results of team members and provide guidance on testing and result interpretation.
  • Customer Engagement: Discuss test planning and execution with customers and provide advice on additional services to help them achieve their goals.
  • Leadership: Lead customer workshops and represent the company at events and exhibitions.

Requirements:

  • Technical Training: Completed technical training with extensive experience.
  • Electrical Engineering Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Electrical Engineering, ITAV standards, and signal processing.
  • Testing Expertise: Proficiency in electronic product testing.
  • Language Skills: Good English skills.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel.
