Senior Logistics Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Engineer to join our team at DSV. As a key member of our Business Change Management team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new customer projects, processes, and solutions designs
  • Design and implement optimization and solution approaches in warehouse logistics
  • Develop reporting and analytical tools
  • Provide local operational support and onboarding for new DSV employees, including during go-live phases
  • Monitor and develop SIGMA projects at various locations in Germany
  • Migrate data from legacy systems to our internal warehouse management system
  • Customize our internal warehouse management system in collaboration with IT and create technical designs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on logistics
  • Alternatively, relevant work experience in the logistics industry in the mentioned areas
  • Experience in warehouse logistics and working with warehouse management systems and logistics technology
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • VBA knowledge desirable and high IT understanding
  • Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and structured work approach
  • Creativity, teamwork, and high commitment
  • Innovative, proactive, and solution-oriented thinking and action
  • Travel readiness
