Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior EU Fleet Compliance Manager who will be instrumental in maintaining fleet standards.
This role will concentrate on managing and improving fleet accountability mechanisms, ensuring adherence to contractual and service level standards. When standards are not met, the individual will be responsible for implementing policies to take appropriate actions.
The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach and demonstrate excellent networking, assurance, and communication skills.
Given that the decisions made by this individual directly impact safety and productivity, a high level of seniority, business acumen, and confidence is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective measures to ensure quality assurance standards are met.
- Oversee fleet accountability metrics across the EU.
- Conduct ongoing data analysis to identify systematic failures.
- Document and report on service quality levels.
- Establish effective relationships with senior leadership and legal teams within EU AMZL.
- Foster collaborative relationships with Fleet Operations and Compliance Leaders in various regions.
Travel Requirements
This role may require travel to Delivery Stations to oversee the application of quality assurance processes and vehicle health.
About the Team
The EU Fleet Compliance Team is dedicated to upholding fleet roadworthiness, ensuring safe fleet operations in compliance with legal regulations and Amazon's operational standards. By achieving these goals, we enhance vehicle, driver, and community safety, legal compliance, and vehicle health.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in Assurance, Automotive, Engineering, Logistics, Legal, or Contract Management.
- Experience influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams at the senior leadership level.
- A track record of developing strong, value-added partnerships.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of engagements; adept at knowing when to delegate and when to take action.
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail. Proficiency in the local language as well as English is required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or other postgraduate degree.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Quality Management Certification.
- Project Management Certification.
- Experience in Fleet Management.
- Proficiency in a second European language is advantageous.
