About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled PAS Lead Engineer to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our Project Management team, you will be responsible for owning the delivery of a portfolio of projects, utilizing Emerson's global resources and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Lead or Project Manager in understanding and managing customer expectations, as well as coordinating with product vendors, sub-contractors, and other Emerson teams.
  • Take ownership of engineering activities on allocated work, applying methodologies and resources to minimize execution costs while maintaining schedule and quality standards.
  • Develop and provide realistic project schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of resource requirements, progress, and areas of risk.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical communication with customers, ensuring all team members have necessary information.
  • Support procurement activities, including detailed specifications for sub-contracted works and services.
  • Ensure engineering activities are completed to required quality, budget, and schedule, and that the Project Lead or Manager is informed of any customer-initiated changes in scope.
  • Verify that all engineering activities adhere to Emerson's quality control processes and relevant standards.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive and encouraging project team environment, supporting team members in achieving personal development objectives.
  • Participate in bid activities to ensure customer requirements are understood and innovative solutions are proposed.
  • Maintain and share knowledge and experience with the engineering team and wider organization.

Requirements:

  • State-certified technician with relevant vocational training or comparable experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven record of handling system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects.
  • Ability to work independently and within defined timelines.
  • Extensive experience with direct customer contact and managing expectations.
  • Valid driving license for cars.
  • Local language skills with proficient English (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with DeltaV.
