Your Responsibilities- Oversee and manage electrical suppliers (Coordination and management)
- Draft specifications for electrical, control, and automation systems
- Analyze supplier proposals and select vendors in collaboration with the project leader
- Monitor supplier performance (milestones, technical discussions, and alignment)
- Address project-related technical challenges
- Track potential developments throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure traceability of all follow-ups in the internal Ascent system
- Evaluate supplier deliverables
- Prepare verification and validation documentation
- Conduct inspections at supplier facilities
- Facilitate communication and coordination with the Ascent team regarding interfaces between Electrical, Control & Automation Work Package and other work packages
- Act as the primary technical and project contact for the customer regarding electrical and control automation work package
- Completed engineering degree in CC engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace, or a comparable technical field
- Minimum of five years of experience in machine development, ideally with relevant experience in the aircraft industry as an Electrical/CC Work Package Leader
- Familiarity with standards related to general machine commissioning in the aerospace sector
- Technical expertise in Electrical, Control, and Automation Work Packages
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Experience with project management tools/methodologies and supplier oversight (technical, contractual, and project-related)
- Comfortable interacting with international clients and suppliers
- Fluent in German (at least B2/C1) and English (at least B2/C1)
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with suppliers, customers, and team members; creative and proactive mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes
- Knowledge of Catia V5 is a plus
