Senior Electrical Systems and Components Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Systems and Components Engineer to join our team at Vattenfall. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational control of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and their electrical systems.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical expertise to support the operational control of WTGs and their electrical systems.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of best practices for the industry.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of technical documentation and guidelines.
- Participating in the assessment of technical solutions and root cause analysis of component-level issues.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Systems and Components Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the operational control of WTGs and their electrical systems.
- Developing and implementing best practices for the industry.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of technical documentation and guidelines.
- Participating in the assessment of technical solutions and root cause analysis of component-level issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the electrical design of modern wind turbines and wind farm systems.
- Strong knowledge of WTG Generator and Transformer Technology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
