Team Overview
Within the Accounting Hub of Allianz SE, the Investment Accounting team, located in Unterföhring, is tasked with the reporting and accounting of investments in compliance with HGB and IFRS for various Allianz entities. This role is crucial for the preparation of the Group's quarterly and annual financial statements. Additionally, we facilitate timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies and assist with audits conducted by external auditors.
Your Contribution
- Assist in the preparation and processing of evaluations for internal reporting.
- Support the team with daily operational tasks.
- Engage in projects and special assignments related to Investment Accounting.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB, as well as regulatory reports.
What We Seek
Essential Qualifications
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest or initial experience in accounting under IFRS and HGB is preferred.
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Possess an analytical mindset.
- Enrollment in a university is required for internship and working student roles.
- Submission of a certificate of enrollment is necessary for consideration.
Preferred Qualifications
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong analytical abilities and a passion for numerical data.
- Experience in data handling and interpretation.
- Proficiency in complex Excel functions, including data modeling; knowledge of Access is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience in project work, consulting, or the financial services sector is advantageous.
