About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team at BAUHAUS. As a key member of our Corporate IT department, you will be responsible for the administration and development of our monitoring environment for IT services and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage interfaces with other IT systems and connect various data sources such as databases, log files, and APIs.
  • Develop insights from large structured or unstructured data sets.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts.
  • Support internal teams in setting up and designing monitoring solutions to analyze IT system performance.
  • Contribute to the conception, consultation, communication, and training of users.
Requirements
  • Studies or training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related fields.
  • First-hand experience in monitoring, preferably as a Monitoring Engineer, IT System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator, or Data Scientist.
  • Experience with Splunk or similar monitoring tools.
  • Programming skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Interest in IT system monitoring, from network devices to servers, cloud, applications, and IT processes.
  • Structured work approach and ability to overview complex situations, link relevant information from various areas, and create a comprehensive picture.
  • Openness, team spirit, and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills.
