Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a Backend Software Engineer at Deel Inc., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based platform. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, Lambda, RDS, and EKS.
- Collaborate with our product team to identify and prioritize features, and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Work with our QA team to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
- 5+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack developer in technologies such as AWS, JavaScript, and relational databases.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with serverless application architecture on AWS.
- Experience with TypeScript and other modern programming languages.
- Knowledge of Fintech and international payroll regulations.
- Experience working in distributed teams and environments.
