About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Remote. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems using Elixir and Postgres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Elixir and Postgres.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a Backend Software Engineer, with a strong background in Elixir and Postgres.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and self-guided, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
