Senior Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our CRM Leveraged and Structured Finance team at Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and controlling credit, market, operational, and reputational risks across our businesses and clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth analysis of new Leveraged Finance transactions, including Leveraged Buyouts, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) financing, Best-Effort transactions, Leveraged Loan participations, amend-to-extend, and waiver requests.
- Review and approve requests for FX/IR/commodity derivatives and transaction banking products.
- Review credit reports throughout the entire credit process, including detailed credit recommendations and approvals, and present larger transactions to the Underwriting Committee.
- Take credit decisions within assigned credit authority.
- Provide ongoing portfolio monitoring and maintain data integrity in DB's technology systems.
- Lead/participate in diverse internal projects that improve efficiency and help Deutsche Bank achieve key strategic objectives.
- Support team interactions with internal and external auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Academic degree in business or finance-related field or equivalent experience/qualification.
- Significant experience in product areas Leveraged Finance and/or Structured Finance.
- Outstanding analytical skills, including Leveraged Loan and High Yield structuring, financial modeling/forecasting, and understanding of derivative structures.
- Comprehensive understanding of macroeconomic drivers.
- High degree of ability to take credit decisions independently.
- Ability to process comprehensive data within shortest timeframes and make credit decisions in a well-founded and concise manner.
- Extensive knowledge of generally applicable Leveraged Lending related policies and processes at a Bank.
- Ability to work under high time pressure and focus on multiple transactions at once.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German.
