Job Description

We are seeking a Research and Development specialist to conduct research in Investment Funds Law. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Isabelle Riassetto and be responsible for:

  • Conducting desk research on various topics related to investment funds law, including fund managers, depositaries, fund distribution, UCITS, AIFs, ELTIFs, and ESG funds, under EU and Luxembourg law.
  • Disseminating research results through scientific publications, workshops, and conferences, including organizing workshops, seminars, and conferences, and editing the publication of research results.
  • Providing research assistance and coordinating young researchers working in the same field.
  • Contributing to the preparation of further research proposals within the Department of Law.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in law, preferably with a specialization in banking and financial law or business law. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong interest in investment funds law and interdisciplinary research, with academic or practical experience in related topics being an advantage.
  • Curiosity and self-motivation.
  • Team-oriented skills.
  • Proven ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment, with fluency in either English or French, and a good understanding of the second language, with German being an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
