About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Financial Controller to join our team at BABLE Smart Cities Iberia. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to support business objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Implement and maintain efficient financial systems and processes to support business growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Language: Fluency in English and German, with additional languages a plus.
