About the Role

As Head of Finance, you will shape the financial future of straiv and build the finance department to secure long-term growth. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading a talented and motivated finance team, capable of keeping pace with the rapid growth of the scale-up.
  • Developing and implementing our medium- and long-term financial strategy in line with the company vision and growth goals.
  • Establishing solid financial processes and controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Supporting management in decision-making by creating financial plans, forecasts, and scenarios.
  • Ensuring the financial sustainability of the company by optimizing capital costs and increasing profitability.

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics with a focus on Finance, or a comparable field.
  • You have at least 8 years of experience in finance, preferably in a leadership position in a SaaS company.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of accounting, controlling, financial analysis, and risk management, with relevant certifications like Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst being an asset.
  • You have excellent German and English skills in writing and speaking.
  • You can analyze and interpret complex financial data and communicate it clearly and concisely.
  • You are able to lead a team and establish a positive and collaborative work culture.
