Inventory Control Manager

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Management Analyst to join our team. As a Logistics Management Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing data related to supply chain operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and analyze data related to supply chain operations, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving, and logistics management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide visibility into supply chain operations.
- Provide recommendations to management on process improvements and cost savings opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- 7 years of recent specialized experience in logistics.
- 3+ years of leadership experience required.
- Formal Training: GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent.
- Must complete internal APS-2 GCSS-A training within 60 days of hire.
- At least two years of GCSS-A experience, preferred.
- Must have the ability to provide skilled analysis of data prepared and presented.
- APS knowledge and experience, preferred.
- Possess strong knowledge of MRO's, Hand Receipts, IARs and other Army Supply documentation.
- Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
- Must have basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook and other related applications.
- Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
- Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact well with the customer and with employees at all levels.
- The appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Formal Training: GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent.
Amentum is a typical office environment with no unusual hazards, mainly sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
May be required to deploy on missions on short notice at the direction of the PMO.
