Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Consultant in Cyber Strategy & Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security posture of our diverse clientele. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with clients' IT and security teams to implement strategic security initiatives and projects, addressing challenges alongside fellow NVISO experts;
- Enhancing security governance, policies, processes, and guidelines across various domains of cybersecurity;
- Developing and refining client Security Strategies by establishing governance frameworks through policies, standards, and operational structures;
- Creating Information Security Architectures that align business functions with cybersecurity and IT environments;
- Formulating action plans in coordination with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Assisting clients in achieving and maintaining compliance with legal, contractual, and internal information security requirements;
- Crafting a Security Strategy informed by corporate risk and threat assessments in collaboration with key organizational stakeholders;
- Providing reports to senior management on security initiatives;
- Engaging with organizations of all sizes, united by the goal of advancing their defenses against evolving cyber threats.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) related projects;
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree; while a background in IT or technology is not mandatory, an affinity for technology is essential;
- Relevant certifications such as ISO certifications (ISM or Auditor), CISSP, or GSEC are advantageous;
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity control frameworks like ISO27002, NIST CSF, BSI, or CIS Controls is required;
- Experience in translating NIS2 and/or DORA requirements into practical implementations within enterprises and financial institutions is a plus;
- Ability to work autonomously while valuing teamwork;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on effective communication and colleague support;
- Demonstrated project management capabilities;
- Results-driven with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction, ensuring timely delivery of outstanding outcomes;
- Proficient in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Eligibility for NATO clearance is required.
